Terms of Service

MEMBERSHIP

Members have the right to book into any class as many times a week/month and full access to all content within the TYR library. Membership is personal and cannot be assigned, transferred, shared, or otherwise disposed of without prior written agreement. Membership will be cancelled if a member shares their membership log-in, duplicates or otherwise uses pre-recorded or live class content in inappropriate ways, or demonstrates other criminal, violent or inappropriate activity.

1-MONTH DIRECT DEBIT MEMBERSHIP

Principle Terms:

  • Membership is a for a minimum period of 1 months from the membership start date.
  • Membership starts on the agreement date and payments will be due this same date every month.
  • This agreement is non-transferable.
  • Payments are non-refundable except in circumstances where:

– There has been a breach or negligence by us or;

– A new member has used their membership (having practiced live or on-demand with at least four classes in a month period) and feels TYR’s yoga and membership unsuitable and emails hello@theyogarevolution within 30 days of their initial payment;

– On the valid exercise of your statutory cancellation rights.

  • All monthly membership payments shall be paid by Direct Debit and are payable monthly in advance.
  • From the date of being accepted as a member, membership shall continue for a minimum period of 1 months and shall renew monthly on the anniversary of joining unless terminated in accordance with this agreement.
  • You agree to advise us promptly of any change to the member details provided.
  • A member whose membership is terminated shall forfeit all the privileges of membership with immediate effect, there will be no entitlement to refund of any monthly membership charges already paid.
  • Monthly membership fees may be increased, subject to 30 days notice, at the discretion of The Yoga Revolution.
  • In relation to members joining online and to whom the Distance Selling Regulations apply, from the date of being accepted as a member he/she shall have a period of fourteen days within which to cancel their membership if they change their mind. This right of cancellation shall be lost as soon as a member makes a booking/logs in. The Yoga Revolution may also terminate this agreement with immediate effect if there is a breach of rules e.g. class content duplication or theft, the sharing of log-ins, or other criminal, violent, or inappropriate activity.

12-MONTH CONTRACT / ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP

Principle Terms:

  • Membership starts on the date of initial purchase and payments will be due this same date every month.
  • This agreement is non-transferable.
  • Payments are non-refundable except in circumstances where:

 – There has been a breach or negligence by us or;

– A new member has used their membership (having practiced live or on-demand with at least four classes in a month period) and feels TYR’s yoga and membership unsuitable and emails hello@theyogarevolution within 30 days of their initial payment;

– On the valid exercise of your statutory cancellation rights.

  • All annual membership payments shall be paid by Direct Debit and are payable annually in advance.
  • From the date of being accepted as a member, membership shall continue for a minimum period of 12 months and shall renew on the anniversary of joining for further periods of 12 months unless terminated in accordance with this agreement.
  • You agree to advise us promptly of any change to the member details provided.
  • A member whose membership is terminated shall forfeit all the privileges of membership with immediate effect, there will be no entitlement to refund of any monthly membership charges already paid.
  • Annual membership fees may be increased, subject to 30 days notice, at the discretion of The Yoga Revolution

Fair Cancellation Policy:

The member may terminate this agreement on 30 days’ notice in writing, accompanied by reasonable evidence, if he/she is:

  • Unable to participate through serious illness or injury likely to preclude him/her from using their membership for a period of at least two calendar months;
  • Is made redundant or loses their job and is unable to find alternative employment for a period of at least two calendar months.

Please note – cancellation for the above reasons will not be affected until the appropriate proof is received in writing or via email. Appropriate proof may be in the form of an official document or a written statement by a medical practitioner, employer, or other official.

1-MONTH STUDENT MEMBERSHIP

All points in section above (1-MONTH DIRECT DEBIT MEMBERSHIP) apply. Membership will only be granted upon evidence of a valid and in-date student I.D (i.e. I.D. must be emailed to hello@theyogarevolution.co.uk). Members are required to provide further evidence to meet eligibility criteria in order to renew a student membership. If no evidence is provided, membership will automatically cancel. 

IN-PERSON CLASS BOOKINGS

Payments are non-refundable and payment is required to book an in-person class. Regarding in-person classes, if you need to cancel up to 12 hours before the class begins, the payment can be transferred to another class. If you cancel your place 12 hours or closer to the class start time, or fail to take your spot in class without notice, payment will be held for the class booked.

COURSES & WORKSHOPS

Unless stated otherwise, payment for courses is to be made in advance. All course and workshop payments are non-transferrable and the refund policy is as follows:
Course cancellation policy

28 days or more until start date: 75% refund
Between 14 and 28 days of start date: 50% refund
Between 7 and 14 days of start date: 25% refund
Less than 7 days of start date: no refund

Workshop cancellation policy 

28 days or more until workshop: full refund

Between 7 and 28 days of workshop: 50% refund

Less than 7 days until workshop: no refund​

PRIVATE & EVENT TUITION

Payments are non-refundable. Bookings must be cancelled 12 hours prior to the session start time or payment will be required. In situations where multiple sessions have been booked, a cancellation (or missed session) will be deducted from the total number of sessions when notice is given less than 12 hours prior to the session commencing. After booking and paying for four private sessions, those sessions must be booked and completed within a period of six weeks, unless another agreement has been arranged. 

COMPETITIONS

Deadlines and winner-announcement dates will be stated on competition pages/social media, and are subject to change at the competition owner’s discretion. All winners will be chosen at random and will be contacted via email/social media. All prizes not claimed within 72 hours will go to a secondary winner.
