So much of our yoga practice—especially big vinyasa classes and even hatha, too—can be firey, upbeat, and energising. And all of those things are wonderful and, in my eyes, necessary. But what’s also necessary is a slowing down—something we take for granted far too often.

So this is a yoga session is to help you find that slowing down you need, and you’ll quickly realise how much you actually do need it. You’ll find yourself moving slowly through calming, relaxing postures, breathing a little deeper, and finding the softness your body needs to promote the best sleep you’ve had in ages.

You’ll just need a yoga mat and a rolled-up blanket for this class. Try practicing it before bed for a few days and see how it impacts your sleep.
